RABBI MOSHE SCHOCHET

HEAD OF SCHOOL

Rabbi Moshe Schochet moved to Boca, Raton, FL in 2002 along with his wife, Michal, to join the Boca Raton Community Kollel. In 2005, Rabbi Schochet joined the Judaic Studies faculty at Katz Yeshiva High School in Boca Raton where he served as guidance counselor, Gemara Department Chair, and Director of Alumni Services. In 2015, Rabbi Schochet became the Principal of Judaic Studies at the RASG Hebrew Academy of Miami Beach. Rabbi Schochet graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Yeshiva University in 1999, and received his Smicha from Yeshiva University in 2003. He holds a Masters Degree in counseling from Pace University and a certificate in Educational Leadership from Yeshiva University. Rabbi Schochet's insightful classes stimulate students and his charasmatic personality has created enduring relationships with his students.

MRS. MICHAL SCHOCHET

JUDAIC STUDIES PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Michal Schochet holds a B.A. in Judaic Studies from Yeshiva University. Before moving to Boca Raton, Mrs. Schochet taught in Midreshet Moriah, a post-high school seminary for girls in Israel. In 2002, Mrs. Schochet joined the Judaic Studies faculty at Katz Yeshiva High School in Boca Raton and taught Chumash, Navi, Halacha and Hashkafa to students from 9th-12th grades. Her dynamic teaching style has helped her establish profound and long-lasting relationships with her students. She serves as a role model and continues to inspire teenagers both in and out of the classroom.
